Three-Storey Residential Building, Thermi, Thessaloniki
This contemporary three-storey residential building in Thermi, Thessaloniki spans 1,100 m² and is designed with a strong focus on energy efficiency, sustainability, and user comfort. Tziolas Engineers undertook the full electromechanical studies, ensuring high standards and advanced technology across all systems.
Electromechanical Design
The building features advanced heating and cooling systems equipped with smart controls and sensors to optimize indoor temperature and reduce energy consumption. The plumbing systems were designed for efficient water use, incorporating fittings that minimize waste and enhance performance. Electrical installations include automation for lighting and other building systems, improving both comfort and security.
Sustainability
The green roof enhances thermal insulation and contributes to the local microclimate while offering a pleasant recreational area for residents. Thermal insulation materials and rooftop solar collectors for domestic hot water significantly reduce energy demand.
With careful planning and integrated M&E systems, this project sets a benchmark for sustainable construction and energy class A+ living in Thessaloniki’s urban landscape.
